All Quiet On The Western Front
Remarque's novel chronicles the experience of a 19-year–old Paul Baumer, a German soldier in World War I and it is as relevant now as it was when it was published in 1929. Paul and his comrades must cope with the realities of war: constant danger, psychological trauma, horrific death and maiming.
