Alone at Ninety Foot
The young narrator struggles to deal with her mother's suicide and the changes that occur as she grows older. The novel is set in the Lower Mainland which a lot of students will find intriguing. The teen aged characters are interesting and the author shows a lot of what teenage life is really like.
