Gemini Summer

In 1965, Danny and his brother, Beau, are best of friends. Dad's obsession to build a fall-out shelter to keep his family safe ends up becoming a part of Beau's death as he falls and impales himself at its depths on a piece of rebar. Danny's grief over the loss of Beau is eased when a stray puppy adopts him. He soon discovers that his brother is in this little dog and sets out to save him and help him realize his dream of seeing a rocket launch at Cape Kennedy come true.
