White Giraffe, The
Recently orphaned Martine, age 11, has returned to Africa, the land of her birth, so that she can live with her standoffish grandmother, Gwyn Thomas. Gwyn owns a large safari park and rumour has it that a rare white giraffe lives somewhere in her park. Martine is immediately caught up in the search for the giraffe, which she soon encounters one moonlit night, and rides it bareback to its magical home.
