This colourful and appealing resource contains simple, hands-on activities, experiments, crafts, and projects grouped around five different topics. Background information is provided for each topic and is accompanied by illustrations, photographs, and interesting facts that will appeal to many learning styles. The concepts are clearly explained using simple language. Clear, step-by-step instructions, laid out in numerical order, and a list of required materials are provided for each activity which can help primary or early intermediate students create the projects on their own. The activities can also be used as whole-class activities to supplement class units or as Makerspace projects.
