Arthur is spending his summer as an intern at his mother’s law firm in New York when he happens to meet New Yorker Ben at the post office, but before they can exchange information they are separated by a flash mob. They try many avenues to find each other and when they finally do, they have a series of first dates and encounter and deal with an array of situations and obstacles. This engaging contemporary love story for grades 11 and 12 is told in alternating chapters/voices of the two main characters, deals with issues of relationships and identity, and is suitable for an independent or literature circle novel or to launch discussion of SOGI topics and issues.
