Legacy of Hope Foundation

This resource seeks to educate and raise awareness of the history and legacy of residential schools across Canada. Students and educators can access a wide range of resources, including concise text, timelines, videos, and interviews with survivors, at various grade levels, that describe the far-reaching and on-going effects of these schools. The site focuses on healing and reconciliation, and the positive contributions made by First Nations, Inuit, and Metis communities are integrated into the lessons and exhibits. This resource provides a powerful voice for the survivors of the schools and gives strength to their stories.
