Qitsualik-Tinsley, R.; Qitsualik-Tinsley, S.
Young Inuit hunter Kannujaq, while travelling across the Arctic tundra, comes across a group of Tuniit people – a mysterious tribe he has heard about, but never encountered. When their camp comes under attack by Viking invaders, Kannujaq must decide whether to put aside his prejudices against the Tuniit and help them fight the invaders. He allows himself to be drawn into the conflict and battles against the Viking warriors. This short, approachable, historical fiction novel presents the traditions and beliefs of all three cultures and their varying world views and perspectives.
