Separate Peace
Set in the early years of World War II in a boy's boarding school in New Hampshire, this novel follows two friends, Gene and Phineas and how one error in judgement, one tragic mistake, changes both of their lives forever. As the young boys come of age during World War II, their friendship brings about the best and worst in both, leading to violence, betrayal, and confession.
