Parvana's Journey

This is the second in a trilogy about the experiences of Parvana, a young Afghani girl growing up under the Taliban regime. In this novel, Parvana’s father dies, leaving her alone to find her mother and siblings. She wanders the countryside picking up a collection of other orphaned children along the way. Together, they narrowly avoid death on many occasions and support each other to survive the journey to a refugee camp.
