Notes for a War Story

In this graphic novel, the protagonist and his three friends, squatters in a country torn apart by war, become involved with the mafia like leader of the local militia and turn to a life of crime and eventually are involved in murder. The effective use of visuals coupled with this engaging and relevant story and the cast of exclusively male characters would make this a good selection for teachers looking to appeal to male readers.
