This Canadian collection of Indigenous voices focuses on the broad concept of time, including personal, traditional, and futuristic perceptions. Through the genres of poetry, narrative, fiction, and non-fiction, the selections explore Indigenous Peoples’ history, culture, traditions, and connections, and the impact of colonialism, intergenerational trauma, and residential schools. Suitable for grade 10-12 classrooms to explore Canadian Indigenous perspectives and enhance curricular content.
