Dark Cloud: The High Cost of Cyberbullying

This Canadian documentary focuses on the campaign against bullying led by Carol Todd, whose teenage daughter Amanda killed herself in response to cyberbulling and extortion, and Justin Lawson, the founder of Rise Against Bullying. Victims of bullying share their experiences including their efforts to overcome the resulting trauma. The 45 minute video is accompanied by a series of digital response modules and an interactive guide that provides information on digital citizenship, sexting, cyberbullying, and its prevention. Suitable to launch discussion of digital citizenship, social media use, bullying, and anti-bullying strategies with grade 7-10 students.
