City Spies

Ponti, J.
The UK’s spy agency MI6 recruits a group of five youth, aged 12 to 15, who have rather unusual talents, such as computer hacking, magic illusions, and code breaking. They are sent to an international competition on the environment to discover who is threatening the competition and what they plan. The five must learn to trust each other, face their fears, work together to follow clues, and stop the villains. This action-packed novel, with its eccentric and appealing characters, will help students learn to understand and appreciate others despite their differences. Suitable for literature circles, novel study, read-aloud, or independent reading in grades 4-7.
