When college student Alice suffers a break up with her girlfriend she questions how her asexuality has an impact on her relationships with friends, family members, and at work. When a new relationship presents itself, she is both excited and confused yet finds it a challenge to share that she is asexual with others. When she finally shares it with her new partner some turmoil arises but a positive resolution is achieved. This novel examines sexuality, accepting differences, and the dynamics of romantic relationships and relationships with friends, and is best suited for a literature circle or small group novel for students in grades 9-12.
