The Alchemist’s Daughter is a fantasy adventure set in England in 1587. Much to his daughter Sidonie's dismay, Alchemist Simon Quince convinces Queen Elizabeth I, who is short of funds for her war with Spain,that he has the much-sought after formula for making gold almost in hand. Sidonie then embarks on a self-imposed quest for the Glastonbury treasures in the hope of saving her father, and potentially all of England.
