Lore, the last member of her family to have escaped murder, abandons her Greek heritage but during the Agon, the time when the Greek Gods are vulnerable and hunted for their powers, the Goddess Athena arrives on her doorstep, mortally wounded, and seeking help. Wrath, the God of War, is out to kill all the Old Gods and seize their powers but he needs to find Lore as she has a tool he needs for his nefarious plan. It is up to Lore, her friend Castor, and Athena and her friends to enter the violent world of Agon and prevent Wrath from seizing power. This adventurous novel for grades 10-12 centres on Greek mythology in a contemporary frame. Social considerations noted.
