This Canadian resource helps teachers develop, promote, and enhance thinking in mathematics classes. It provides teachers with a toolkit to develop a thinking classroom that can supplement and enhance current teaching practices. The what, why, and how of the practices are explained, teachers’ questions are answered, examples of teacher and student interviews and student work samples are included, as are a wide range of macro moves, micro moves, and tasks to get started.
