Discounts and flexible licensing options are available to schools and Districts when an education volume license agreement is purchased. To qualify for this, at least 10 licenses of an application need to be purchased at one time. Members can choose to buy one, two or all three applications. Further discounts are available when all 3 applications are purchased together.

Licenses can be assigned by device, by user (staff and students), or a combination of both and can be reassigned anytime. This will allow schools/districts to assign licenses to a mixture of school computers and to students and staff to install on their personal computers.

Additional Information

Licences are now available for Microsoft/ MacOS and iPadOS devices (separate pool of licences.)

These are the three licensing options.

  1. A perpetual license agreement – this type of license agreement is based on a single payment to own the current version of the application(s). Updates (e.g. Version 1.6 from 1.7) are included at no extra cost, but they stop when a major upgrade (e.g. Version 2) is released. iPad OS licences are perpetual licences only.
  2. An annually renewable license agreement – this is based on an annual fee and the school/district will enter into a 12 month, rolling agreement to use the application(s). Updates are included, as well as all major upgrades (Version 2.0, 3.0 etc.) that are released during the agreement period. The school/district will not own the licenses. When the agreement is terminated all licenses will need to be removed from all school devices/networks and any user’s computers that have the application(s) installed on their own computers.
  3. A District site license agreementis also available. This type of agreement can be either perpetual, or annually renewable, and will allow schools to install the application(s) on an unlimited number of school owned computers, as well as allowing all enrolled students and staff to install the application(s) on their personal computers.

All licenses in the education volume license agreement are compatible with both macOS and Windows.
