School Furniture [New 2024]
This program provides access to a wide range of School Furniture across manufacturers / brands at competitive prices.
We are excited to unveil our revamped School Furniture program, which has been meticulously refined to enhance its relevance and value for our members. By integrating proposals from both new and existing suppliers, we now offer a comprehensive program encompassing Early Learning Spaces, Office setups within school or board environments, and general School Furniture.
In our innovative new School Furniture program, we are thrilled to introduce seven primary distributors. While esteemed names like CDI Spaces Inc., Grand and Toy, Schoolhouse Products and Staples Professional continue their valued partnership, we are equally delighted to welcome new additions: Hamster, a division of Novexco Inc., and Wintergreen Learning Materials Ltd. Focused Education is waiting on the remaining three Suppliers to return signed copies of the Roster Agreement before publishing further information.
Hamster is the largest wholly Canadian-owned supplier and distributor of business essential products. Wintergreen Learning Materials is a Canadian-owned supplier with a robust range of products and services dedicated to the Education and Childcare sector, including furniture to schools in every province.
This program grants you access to a diverse array of School Furniture from top manufacturers and brands, all at highly competitive prices. Join us and discover how our expanded offerings can transform your educational spaces into thriving environments for learning and growth.
What To expect
A roster-based program with seven suppliers to cater to your school furniture needs.
The agreements offer the sector:
- industry standard products with competitive pricing on a wide range of School Furniture including: desk, chairs, storage spaces and soft-seating, etc.
- Tiered pricing for products on the basis that additional options are better quality functionally equivalent products
- additional products conceptually falling within the school furniture category such as sand and water tables, cots, mattresses etc.
- dedicated account representatives to provide support and responsive customer service
HOW TO GET STARTED
If you would like to purchase against any of these agreements, discuss your needs/requirement with the one or more suppliers of your choice on the roster and sign a Commercial Participation Agreement (CPA) [see Member Only section for additional information].
You can work with the supplier to develop your Member Core List (a list of high usage products from a particular member.) based on your additional requirements. The CPA provides opportunity for members to address member-specific terms such as delivery schedule, minimum order and payment schedule, etc.
A Roster Agreement (RA) has established between Focused Education and each Supplier; Schedule A containing the primary clauses is available for download and review. If there are any specific clauses that you do not see in Schedule A, please let us know by email at supplies@focusedresources.ca.

CHOOSING YOUR SUPPLIER
Second Stage Procurement Process; as the need for products arise, you may invite one, more or all suppliers on the roster to provide deliverables in accordance with your competition thresholds and signing authority/ purchasing policy. All suppliers on the roster capable of providing the deliverables should have equal access to an invitational tender, except when products required are in-house products and only sold by one (1) supplier.
To truly gain a competitive advantage, Focused Education suggests you consider working with a single strategic supplier partner for core requirements, wherever possible. This approach ensures a strong, value-added relationship with many advantages, including:
- Exceptional supplier responsiveness
- Improved inter-operability
- Time and cost-saving process improvements
- Use of common platform
- Access to training
- and more
Note:
Suppliers on the roster may carry other product lines that meet or exceed the requirements for School Furniture, but are currently not showcased in the catalogues below. Please contact the supplier for more details.
Remember, Focused Education is available to support you in your decision-making.
