Social Dynamics in Tabletop Role Playing Games (Social Dynamics in TTRPGs) is a course option for students who have a desire to strengthen their interpersonal, intrapersonal, and leadership skills. This course will provide an environment that empowers them to use their interests and strengths to accomplish this goal. The course focuses on the shared storytelling tabletop experience as the main vehicle for developing and practicing good communication skills.

Goals and Rationale

Facilitates acquisition of interpersonal and intrapersonal competencies as students work collaboratively in shared storytelling environment and learn to recognize and understand the importance of building strong working relationships. Beyond content knowledge, there is strong correlation between social-emotional competencies & life success. This is the focus of Social Dynamics in TTRPGs. Core Competency skills, Personal and Social Core Competency.considerable number of academic competencies.
