Alexandria of Africa

Walters, Eric
A young American teenager with the lifestyle of the rich and famous, finds herself arrested again. Much to her dismay, she is treated like a "common" criminal, and is sentenced to work for a charity in Africa for one month. While the others at the work camp are volunteers and have the dedication of activists, at first Alex is more concerned about where to plug in her curling iron and how to keep her clothes wrinkle free until she bonds with an African family and has an epiphany about her life.
