Art Assignment, The

This extensive website of videos from the PBS Digital Studio archives encourages students and teachers to explore different topics in art and aims to demystify art and art history. A short, ten minute video accompanies each topic and provides information on the particular technique, medium, or artist, while some videos provide tours of various locations, highlighting art installations. Easy and fun activities and assignment pages are also available. Teachers can use specific assignments with the whole class or students could choose an area that interests them.
