Bifocal
Told from two points of view, this novel addresses the major issues of social justice in contemporary Canadian high schools. Jay, one of the school jocks, discovers that there are "two sides to every story" and that we should question, examine, and challenge the truth behind "those we have been told to fear". The story deals with the conflict between Muslim and contemporary North American belief systems since 9/11.
