This Book is Anti-Racist

This resource seeks to empower readers to take action against racism and human injustices. It helps readers understand themselves, their identities, the language and terminology used for identities, historical injustices, and how to recognize and take action against current injustice and inequalities. Suitable for grades 7-12, the text is suitable as a class read-aloud, for literature circles, book clubs, and Socratic circles, and can be used to launch discussion of racism, equality, genderism, identity, and culture. Recommended that this book should be supported with discussion and trauma-informed practice.
