Calling All Minds: How to Think and Create Like an Inventor

Grandin, T.
This engaging print resource uses a blend of hands-on activities, personal stories, and the history of inventors and inventions to explore five key topic areas: things made of paper, levers and pulleys, things made of wood, things that fly, and optical illusions. Students will be inspired to explore design and innovation as they make connections to innovations through the personal stories and background information, and the twenty-five hands-on projects, which can be completed with inexpensive supplies or items found around the home, can encourage creativity and inspiration. Useful to supplement class lessons for a wide range of grades (K-10) and across many subject areas.
