It's day-to-day survival for 15 year-old Maybe and the tribe of homeless runaway and throwaway teens who risk the dangers of living on the streets over going home or to the shelter. But too many kids are disappearing lately: dying of addiction, disease, exposure and violence. It's too late for Maybe but she has to save newcomer twelve-year-old Tears from the harsh reality of life on the streets in New York city.
