City of Ember, The

Ember is an underground city intended to keep people safe for a period of time following a nuclear holocaust. Now its supplies are running low. Lina and Doon use a set of hidden instructions to find their way above ground to freedom. The story recounts the obstacles they face as they try to save themselves and other inhabitants of the city.
