Do Bugs Need Drugs? is an interactive and engaging resource to teach children how to prevent of the spread of disease. The resource directly relates to the Prescribed Learning Outcomes of the B.C. Health and Career (K-3) curriculum, and provides many opportunities for cross-curricular activities. The learning outcomes are clearly listed and well-supported through the accompanying activities. It can be easily adapted to support all cognitive levels of students. The product contains a well-organized and structured teacher resource in a three-ring binder with an accompanying DVD. The short DVD teaches proper hand washing techniques demonstrated and narrated by a child. The DVD is appealing, engaging, and age appropriate. The hands-on activities are sequenced, well-paced from one grade to another, and often include student black line masters.
