Dragon Rider

In this lengthy novel, the dragons in the valley are feeling pressured by human encroachment, so Firedrake and his brownie friend decide to look for the legendary home of the dragons at the 'Rim of the World'. Their quest leads them to a cartographer rat and a boy who lives in an old warehouse. The journey teaches them that the courage to overcome preconceptions about a variety of human, animal and fabulous creatures will result in cooperation and ultimately success.
