This is the 4th book in the series 'La nouvelle maîtresse', which features Mademoiselle Charlotte. Charlotte mistakenly takes the prime minister’s bag at the train station, confusing it with her own. To get her own bag back, she enlists the help of the prime minister’s son to follow the official’s itinerary. The reader is led on a merry chase as the prime minister is convinced that his son has been kidnapped by a crazy old woman who keeps interfering with his political agenda.
