Droughtlanders, The

Brother Eli and Seth are raised as advantaged young men in the Keys, a fantastical nation created by the author. When Eli’s mother is killed and their role in a subversive counter culture is revealed both boys must choose a path according to their loyalties and values. While Eli chooses to join the resistance movement, Seth, who is unable to see beyond his preconceived notions of society, class and race, must take a more arduous journey towards self-realization.
