Estranged

Childe was switched at birth with a fae changling and lives in the world below with the ruling faerie family. When an evil sorceress tries to overthrow the royal family and seize the throne, Childe heads up to the human world above to find his changeling, Edmund. The two undertake a fantastic adventure to save both of their worlds that involves magic, beasts, monsters, assassins, and battles. This fantasy graphic novel explores friendship, family, and belonging, and can be used as part of a literature circle, a study of the use of illustrations to reflect mood, feelings, and emotions, or to examine the physical characteristics of a faerie realm. Note: some scenes may not be appropriate for readers sensitive to graphic forms of action or violence.
