Anderson, M. T.
In a world ruled by consumerism and greed everyone is hardwired to the Internet and constantly fed information. Teenager Titus finds it hard to find meaning in this way of life but while on vacation to the Moon he meets Violet, who has a different way of looking at the world. Then, when a hacker causes their links to malfunction, Titus struggles to understand a world without live feed but when he is “repaired”, Titus is unsure which world is better. This science fiction novel, suitable for mature readers with critical thinking skills, can encourage exploration of environmentalism, commercialism, advertising, generational disconnect, and corporate greed.
