Fighting Chance: A Young Offender's Journey Through the Justice System

Fighting Chance is an effective and engaging animated film that provides the opportunity for students to develop understanding of personal responsibility. It encourages students to become informed decision makers and to develop their understanding of at-risk youth and gangs, how to break the cycle, and take responsibility for their actions. The resource deals with real world experiences and it is appropriate for upper intermediate and high school students. It supports the PLOs addressed in Health and Career planning but would also be useful in Law, and in Visual Arts as a good example of an animated film.
