Flight

Fifteen-year-old Zits was orphaned at six and the victim of abusive foster homes in a system that ultimately failed him. While in juvenile detention he meets the evil Justice who teaches Zits to kill and starts a string of events that results in Zits being shot in the head and traveling through time, trying to find his own identity. This graphic and brutally honest novel for mature senior students presents an authentic First Nations worldview and deals with conflicts between races, isolation, violence, and identity.
