Set off the coast of Vancouver Island and Washington state in the late 19th century, a First Nations 14-year-old boy knows that there is something mysterious going on in his village. He has pieced together all the clues to find the treasure, but needs the strength and courage to confront his enemy. The story promotes awareness and understanding of and respect for differences and similarities within and among the First Nations and the early explorers.
