During the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, young Hanneke helps support her family by making deliveries of black market goods. Her life becomes much more complicated when a client asks her to help locate a young Jewish girl she has been hiding but who has gone missing, and Hanneke finds herself working with the Resistance to hide and help Jewish people escape.
