The Great Mathemachicken 1: Hide and Go Beak

Chirpy the chicken loves math and science but is trapped in her coop until the gate is left open one day and she sneaks off to school with the children across the street. She learns all about simple machines and uses the concepts to design a trap to catch a fox who is hunting Clucky the chicken. All the chickens help Chirpy build the trap and celebrate their success and Chirpy is very proud she was able to apply her newly learned math and science skills.
