Green Dog, The

This novel is a descriptive tale about summer days, family relationships, and the love of a pet. Suzanne has just completed grade 4. She has an older brother and two younger siblings who all have nearby friends to play with. Suzanne enjoys fishing, nature walks, and animals. Because she spends a lot of time alone, she dreams of having a dog.
