Hancock Wildlife Foundation

Established by David Hancock in 2006, the “Hancock Wildlife Foundation” is a website that promotes and advocates for wildlife conservation through science, education, and stewardship. With a focus on eagles, the site offers live cam feeds, information, chat forums, and access to various educational and conservation projects that promote advocacy. Suitable for students in Grade 4 and Grade 11, in particular, this website supports the Science curriculum for those grades. In the classroom, the website can be used as a teacher-centred resource for younger students or for independent research for more mature students. The discussion forum can be accessed for discourse and an exchange of ideas on wildlife and related issues, or to source out ideas for discussions within the classroom about conservation.
