Heart of a Champion
Kenny thought life was difficult when a heart murmur stopped him from joining his brother on the champion baseball team, but after the bombing of Pearl Harbor Kenny’s life changed forever. When the community was sent to internment camps, Kenny transformed from the weaker brother to the one who kept family spirit high and a community leader who organized turning a derelict lot into a baseball diamond.
