Hello Rain!
When a young girl and her dog see raindrops start to fall, they suit up for the weather and head outside for an adventure. As the storm gets stronger, the two explore the urban and the natural environment in the rain. When the storm passes, benefits of the rain are apparent, such as refreshing the ground, nourishing plants and animals, and renewing the sky. This Canadian picture book, with its colourful illustrations, is suitable as a read-aloud for a science unit or outdoor exploration in the rain, for independent reading, and to explore literary and poetic devices.
