Hill, The

This engaging adventure story, a modern adaptation of a Cree oral story, follows the journey of Kyle, a Cree boy, and Jared, a Caucasian, into a parallel spirit world to defeat a man-eating beast. At the beginning, their cultural differences act as a barrier, but as the journey progresses, the boys have to work together to survive, and they gain an appreciation of each other and their cultures.
