I Wonder

As Eva and her mother go for a moonlit walk, they observe the world and ponder natural mysteries surrounding them. Through their discussions, Eva learns that we don’t have answers for everything yet, and not knowing is accepted and celebrated as the foundation for inquiry. This picture book for K-3 celebrates ideas and inspires further questions and wonders, and could be used to encourage a wonder walk in a student’s own community, to discuss the concept of not knowing, and to list or role-play statements or beliefs that help wonder to grow, thrive, and be enjoyed.
