If I Just Had Two Wings
Phoebe is born into Alabama slavery. She hears about the Underground Railway and immediately longs for the freedom her grandfather could only dream of. Sensing both passion and ability in her, the plantation 'conductor' grooms her for flight. When the time is right, Phoebe leaves her mother and father behind to journey north on the Underground with a friend and her two babies.
