Igraine the Brave

Almost 12, Igraine longs to be a knight. Evil deeds are afoot and the neighbouring kingdom threatens to invade, just as Igraine's parents are magically putting the finishing touches on her birthday present, and turning themselves into pigs in the process. With her home and family under siege, Igraine has to retrieve the magical cure with the aid of a melancholy knight who instructs her in the finer points of knighthood and bravery.
