Irish Chain

Rose, who experiences challenges at school due to her undiagnosed and misunderstood dyslexia, prays that she no longer be required to go to school. She is then haunted by guilt when she assumes that her prayers have been answered when a devastating explosion in the Halifax Harbour levels most of her village.
