Suitable for senior Physical Education students (grades 10-12), this laminated 24” x 36”poster features 12 basic kettlebell exercises to work the entire body. Photographs and step-by-step instructions accompany each exercise and concepts are clearly explained. The font size used is small, which is a disadvantage as the descriptions are important to the accuracy of the exercise. The resource would be useful as supplemental resource, but teachers should exercise caution, ensure safety procedures are in place, and monitor students closely when using the resource. Teachers need to be comfortable with using a kettlebell prior to instructing students, and students need to be physically fit to use a kettlebell as technique is very important.
