Landscapes of Injustice: The Secondary Teacher Resources

Created by the University of Victoria, this digital classroom resource provides lessons that detail the history of Japanese migration to Canada. It was created by a team of academic researchers, K–12 teachers, museum curators, and community members, and it is specifically about Japanese Canadians and their emigration experience. Its lessons and multimedia content are suitable for senior-level high school students and may be particularly useful in Social Studies classrooms. Students may explore the website and its vast library of primary and secondary sources, and teachers may encourage discussions about the content or invite students to use the resource for inquiry or research projects.
